North Wales has quickly become one of our favourite areas to explore, with mountains, lakes, forests and some incredible coastal scenery. You don’t have to tackle the highest peaks to enjoy it either — there are plenty of easier walks with amazing views.
This page brings together our favourite North Wales walks, with a focus on easier, dog-friendly routes around places including Dolgellau, Barmouth and the Mawddach Estuary. From peaceful lakeside paths and forest trails to coastal walks, there’s plenty to choose from.
